The Canine Club

The Canine Club is a 1.5-acre fenced dog park where Fido can enjoy some off-leash play in North Port, FL. Park amenities include separate small and large dog areas, multiple shade structures, restrooms, waste bag stations, agility equipment, and canine cooling stations. The park is closed Wednesday mornings until noon and Friday mornings until 9am for routine maintenance. Visit Website

Apathetic Owners
Unfortunately we didn’t get to experience much of this place. It seemed like it may be decent, but some owners were not handling/controlling their aggressive dogs so we did not feel comfortable staying. People also did not respect the separate areas for large and small dogs - we have big dogs and there were small dogs in the large dog side.

Disgusting!!!! UNSANITARY! STAY AWAY!!
Since Hounds of Henry Street is closed for construction, we took our dog to The canine Club for exercise. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nicely constructed dog park. However, I was the only owner who actually cleaned up after his pet. There were dozens and dozens of mounds of dog excrement EVERYWHERE, so much so that you had to take care where you walked.. How unhealthy and unsanitary for owners and dogs alike. I will never go there again!!! Clean up your act people!!!!!!
