    Address and Directions are correct

Address in GPS took us right to the correct location. Nice big park with water and fully fenced. Obstacle type activities available if your dog so chooses. Right off I70 and well worth the short drive to get there. Great park! Thank you Friends of Hays!

    Huge but incorrect location?

This is a lovely dog park! We stopped by on the way home from a trip out west.

The location was incorrect however- it’s behind the Fort Hays State soccer complex.

    Wonderful Park!

We stopped at the dog park passing through Hays on our way to Colorado. What a wonderful find! The park is HUGE, well maintained, and easy to find. All the dogs and people at the park were friendly and welcoming.

    Great Large Dog Park

Every time I pass thru Hays it’s a must that I spot to let my dog run. The park is big enough that you can really wear your dog out perfect stop for road trips.
Birds are around if you have a bird dog that likes to chase the birds. Plenty of room for chasing birds!!

    A very nice dog park

My dog and I stopped here on a road trip. It's not too far from the highway. It's big and well maintained. This was the nicest dog park we stopped at!

Nice Park but Not Close to Highway

Best dog park my husband has been to yet. Wish there was more shade. Lots of things for dogs to do: cement tunnel, tires to run through, a bridge, and a fire hydrant.

    Great space for Hays

It's a bit out of the way to get to, but if your dog needs some space to run, this is a great place. It gets moist (lots of large puddles) after snow or rain, but overall it was good. As someone mentioned before, you have to drive around the baseball fields, take a left at the maintenance shed, and drive down a gravel road to get to the park. There is a shelter with a picnic table on each side of the park (small dog and large dog) for some shade, Waste bag stations, and doggie water fountains which were on when we went (5/2/17). The orange water pumps had padlocks on them (for good reason), but the doggie water fountains were functioning. I wish there were a few more objects in the park for dogs to sniff (large rocks, trees, etc.), but we are very spoiled coming from Colorado Springs.

    Nice big park!

But hot in the summer; they planted new trees, but still small and not much shade yet.

    Behind ballparks

Continue through Bickle-Schmitt sportsplex. Turn left at the Maintenance Bldg. It's a nice new dog park. Water is turned off during winter months. So bring your own.

    Hays, Kansas Dog Park

This is a great place to let your dog run free if you are passing through Hays. Large open spaces and two areas for both large and small dogs.
