This park is very spacious and has both a short walking trail and a small dog beach, all fenced! It is mostly dirt and sand but there are dog wash stations by the exit. My 2 loved it here!
- StephanieJun. 21, 2022Great Space
The park has so much shade, that even on a warm day you don't die from heat. The lake is a great way to cool off. The dog washing station is perfect for when your dogs get muddy playing.
- JulieMay. 21, 2022We love this dog park!
First of all, this park is huge!! It’s so big that you can steer your pup to a different area if there is a dog they don’t like/ one that doesn’t like them. Our puppy has a blast running in and out of the water with the big dogs. The owners we have come across have all been like minded and not pretentious. they are dogs - let them play! :)
While it’s a 20 minute drive for us, it is so worth it!! - NikkiMay. 7, 2022Great place for a romp
Huge fenced-in park with plenty of shaded areas, including a pavilion and a walking trail. The lake is huge and most of the terrain is sand or dirt with the occasional grassy patch. There is a wash station so you can rinse your dogs off after a day of fun. The owners and dogs we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially when we wondered whether the treeline area on the left was fenced in or not. We will definitely be back!

love this park! always friendly people(95% of the time anyway) we’ve witnessed a few instances where people were not but it was never with us. but overall a great park! just wish I didn’t live so far away! because my pup loves to swim there! I can’t get her out the water lol

So many great things to say about Lake Baldwin dog park. It's a LARGE play area, nature trail, and lake all in one. It's very safe for your dog: everything is fenced in including the lake and trail. There is also a rinse area near the exit that definitely comes in handy. You never have to worry about this park being empty since there's always a large group ready to play. These dogs are well trained and love, love, love to make friends! This has to be my and my dog's favorite dog park by far. 5/5 bones!

Extremely spacious and beautiful! As expected, things can get very muddy and dirty especially near the lake. The washing stations are great though. There are interesting carvings on the trees, and a book exchange at the front too. My dog loves it every time he comes here, and I haven't had any issues with other dogs' behavior yet. Other dog owners have all been very nice and polite, or mostly mind their business. I don't find it to be too overcrowded on weekday late afternoons or mornings.

I downloaded the app to try to find some new spots for my boi but this has been my go-to since I’ve lived in orlando. it’s a 20 min drive for me but worth it because it’s HUGE and fenced in. They have a small area for small dogs or puppies but the whole thing is completely off-leash and it’s right on the water of lake Baldwin so the dogs can splash around and play. They get really messy, but there are bath area and everything. best dog park everrr
- DebraAug. 10, 2020Dangerous untrained dogs
I had been warned by dozens of good dog owners not to go here. We went here about 8 times before my large dog had his leg fractured by a dog running up attacking. There are some good dogs but others full on hate other dogs. My dogs life is not worth a park. My other dog was mauled in throat in hiking are so that is not safe either. People have never heard of dog trainers in Orlando.
- AileenMay. 13, 2020Messy But Fun
Hardly any grass mostly sand/mud but they do have a great dog wash station. The small dog area is pretty pathetic just a little rectangle. Lots of active large breeds

It is huge. The lake is awesome. It has stations to give dogs a bath, it has water stations and doggy bags! My dog had a blast and we are definitely coming back!

Every time we visit our daughter we make sure to go to this park. People are very nice (99% of the time) and it’s a fun experience for humans and dogs. Weekends are super busy, if possible try to come earlier during the week. You will find pretty much every time a nice buddy that will play with your dog. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
- JessicaAug. 2, 2019There is too a small dog area!
The no swimming signs are for people. All bodies of water in Florida with a few exceptions have alligators. So always watch the water & your dog.
Yes my dog gets muddy but, it's worth him being worn out & happy. He doesn't like the sprayers in the wash off area.
- IsabelMay. 26, 2019Lots of space
This is a great park though its pretty far from me. There is a lot of space for the animals to roam.
- TaylorJan. 21, 2019My Favorite!
Huge park with plenty of room for any type of dog! Usually a lot of people there but it doesn’t feel crowded cause there’s so much room. Dogs can swim in the lake or play on land!

Best place around Orlando to spend active time with dog. Any breeds of dog can find how spend time. Swimming, fetch, walk in woods or just dig holes.
As any public place , sometimes fights between dogs. Some owners too busy to chatting with each other and do not keep eye on they “children “. But mostly that is great place to spend quality time with your dog. - AntonioMore than a year agoAmazing place for your dogs
By far this is the best dog park in Orlando. Plenty of areas for them to play or even swim. Nice doggie showers, water fountains are available as well.
- LibbyJun. 24, 2018Great Swimming Spot but gets VERY Crowded
It's impossible not to give this spot 5 bones given that it's one of the few officially dog-friendly swimming areas I've heard of in Central Florida (although I am new to dog ownership here). And it's very dog-friendly. There's a dog washing station so you can clean up after and lots of shady spots with benches, also a covered picnic area with 2 tables. There are restrooms but no showers. The thing you must be aware of is that is place is VERY popular and on a hot weekend day there will be a LOT of dogs, many of them running about rather wildly. And with this many dogs, there are a few irresponsible or unobservant owners that leave poop. However I spotted only 3 piles on a very crowded Saturday so I'd say mostly people are being responsible. My take away for next time: wear my swim suit so I can play ball more efficiently. I did not see humans swimming, but it's hard to stay out of the water if your dog likes to play in it! Oh, and of course, gators: yes, there are gators in this lake. But the bustle of people should keep them away. If you go when it's very quiet (say early morning weekday) I'd be cautious, especially with a small dog. I have heard from a resident they try to get rid of the big gators.

We frequently have attended this dog park. Depending on the time of year, it's either poorly maintained or pretty decent. Just depends. near the lake it's very muddy for obvious reasons so just plan to wear appropriate shoes. the trails are fun for the dogs, but have taken a hit since the hurricane. the biggest problem at this dog park, are the owners who spend all their time on their phones not paying attention to their dogs - who are either being aggressive and warned off by other dog owners, or who won't pick up their dog's waste. The latter being the biggest problem. Lots of pavilion space for seating, and there is enough space to get away from problem dogs if needed.
- MartMore than a year agoGross!
How disappointing to live in a city that doesn’t take care of their dog parks. This park was practically all dirt and if I brought my dogs here every day they would need daily baths. You can tell this park was an afterthought and no one is really interested in it’s upkeep. There is no separated area for small and big dogs and when you have dogs getting into fights it’s not reassuring. Furthermore, why put a dog park next to a lake and then not allow dogs to go swimming?
- RoxanaMore than a year agoGreat park!
Now only is the whole entire park fenced in, but there are trails to enjoy with your dog without fear of your dog running away. There's a beach for the dogs to enjoy as well. Sandy, so consider taking a towel to protect the car. Water fountains for dog are available as well as poop stations. Big enough to allow dogs to roam.

My pup loves this park! He plays in the water and we walk around the trail. There is a dog washing station as well
- VickiMore than a year agoI love this place
I take my dogs here every weekend and a couple nights during the week. All I have to do is say "park" and they jump up and those tails start wagging. I have a question though. I got hurt really bad on November 29th when 2 siberian huskies came barreling into the back of my knees when they were playing. I'm wondering if anyone may have seen this accident or helped me when it happened? There were a lot of people around me. Unfortunately the owner of those dogs did not offer any information to me. I still go to this park on my walker for now but I can't wait until I can play with my dogs there!

Been to a few parks here but this by far is the best. Very open and people are very friendly and on top of their dogs. Love this place.
