Santa Barbara City College Trails
Take Fido on a stroll on the Santa Barbara City College Trails in Santa Barbara, CA. From the east to the west side of the college, there's a dog-friendly trail that runs along the cliff sporting a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, harbor and beaches. On the west side of the campus, there's a grassy area where well-socialized dogs and friendly owners meet every Saturday morning and many weekday evenings. If you're staying at any of the pet-friendly hotels in West Beach, simply cross Castillo Street, walk through the park and towards the road that winds up the hill toward the college (on the left of the tennis courts). Stay to the left and look for the gardens that hug the cliffs and walk past the stadiums to get to the pedestrian bridge that will take you to the West Campus. The bridge opens up to a big grassy area with a path on the left and (typically) lots of friendly, playful doggies.
