    Granville Athletic Park - Jonesland Environmental Preserve

    Dog-friendly Granville Athletic Park in Oxford, NC, is a fun place to get some fresh air and enjoy the great outdoors. There are three miles of paved walking trails, the longest loop being 1.2 miles. There is also a large picnic shelter, clean restrooms, a playground with safe, modern equipment, and ample parking. All dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet and you must pick up after your pet. They do not supply poop bags but there are lots of trashcans to dispose of your dog's waste. Visit Website

      We love it!

      I love coming to the GAP and so does my dog! It's beautiful here, especially in the fall. There's almost always some sort of sporting event going on so there's plenty of people to meet. It's a great place to walk or run and just enjoy the fresh air!
