This park is awesome! It is a large area great for dogs to run and play on grass-like turf (newly installed beginning of this year). There are plenty of benches for their humans to hang out and watch the fun. Fresh water, poop bags, and dog washing station are all provided. There is an annual fee for each dog but it's pretty reasonable (about $5/mo). The fees pay for the upkeep and renovations that have made this park so nice. It also gets you a fob to enter the park which ensures your pup is socializing with other dogs that have been vaccinated. My dogs love this park and all the friends they make when they go! 10/10 would recommend.

This is the worst dog park out there. For months after we paid our annual dues the lock on the gate did not work so any dog could come in. During that time our 8 month old lab got bit twice and still has scars. We had some good days there but now today there was another irresponsible dog owner there making it bad for other dogs. We even had comments from other owners that the same dog has caused problems several times recently. Just another way for someone to make/raise money at the expense of other lives.

Paws Park is NOT FREE now and the only dog park they upgraded was the LARGE DOG PARK. The little dog park is horrible, full of stickers, ants, and dirt. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. Go back to free so we can experience what we pay for.

Very disappointed to see that there is a fee of over $50 to have your dog gain access to the park. Please don't tell me this is for maintenance, insurance, etc. I have lived in plenty of small and large towns and have NEVER been to a dog park that requires a fee. Are we going to start charging for playgrounds too? Pretty outrageous, especially when this area touts itself as dog friendly!

I was born and raised in Jax, but moved to the north several years ago and am not familiar with any of the dog parks here. After a couple of recommendations, we came here. I was thinking this would be a great place to bring our mini schnauzer.
We started in the larger park since there was a dog in there, but when we got in the park it is nothing but dirt. There is a large retention pond in the middle and the fence doesn't seem high enough to prevent dogs from jumping in. It seems few people actually pick up after their dogs in this park.
The smaller dog park was a little better. There was grass and bark filled in where there was no grass. Seems people pick up after their dogs in this one.
Overall it seems this park is neglected. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back to this one.

Though this park is free, you always find non-neutered males bothering the female dogs. No pond to play in or cool off. We did meet some nice people. Even this park has poop all over the place and people do not pick up. So does not mean if you pay membership or a free park still people are people.

I go to this park as often I can. It is free. Everyone is welcome as long you follow the rules. All the dogs so far are friendly and mine spent all their energy running and playing all around. No big, neither to small, just the perfect place they need to sniff-sniff all around. Benches, lake, shades, and parking..
