    Strict about leash

We visited this beach on Friday at 8am. We had our dog on leash but let off the leash while he went to the water. He just likes to chill in the water. Soon a ranger lady drove by and said he has to be on the leash even in the water or there is $50 fine. Then we switched him to very long leash. Which is not very comfortable for him as he gets tangled up in it. We saw bunch of other dogs playing off leash there as well. We used Lemon st entrance. There was free parking for 2 hours. Dogs are allowed only before 9am and after 5pm. No showers on the beach. But plenty of trash cans.
