    Just go!

We tried to go to Flagler beach first but unfortunately the beaches are still too washed out from the storms to walk & enjoy. I decided to give Old Salt Park a try and I’m so glad I did! Super easy parking right next to the entry to the beach with bathrooms right there & an outdoor shower to rinse off. Not too many people (on a Wednesday in late January) with plenty of room to set up chairs and a long stretch of beach to walk. My Rottie & I loved it!

    Great Beach

We were there July 11, 2022. We had never been to this park. Usually go to Jungle Hut which is also nice.
We were there in the morning before it got too hot. The tide was low and there were some little tide pools that were just deep enough for my Yorkie to swim in. He loved it! It was not real crowded and not a whole lot of dogs were there.

    Nice beach access, restrooms

Do not follow the Google map as it tells you to stop about a mile before you actually reach the beach... Keep going more towards the Atlantic Grille restaurant. Easy beach access, your pooch must be on a leash.

    great beach!

My field spaniel went bonkers in the waves, and the beach was quite beautiful.
