    Awesome Dog Park

Huge dog park steps from the banks of the Mississippi. great place to let your dog run out some energy during your visit.

Great Park, great people, great dogs!

Currently closed for Bridge work above the park. Great park for small dogs. Big dogs seem to love it too. It has a designated, separately fenced, small dog area. There are different "shifts" of groups of regulars. Overall, the people are friendly and pretty dog-savvy. Facilities: It does not have water in the park but there are metal bowls people have brought and people often bring and leave jugs of water to fill the bowls. There is a gravel parking lot, the large dog area is a long strip of mostly wood mulch with some remaining natural areas. There are a few dips that can become good-sized mud puddles in rainy weather. There is a mailbox in the large dog area with information and often extra poop-bags for people who need them.
The small dog area is grassy with newly planted shade trees and a woodsy strip along the back the dogs like to run through.
There is a porta-potty at the large dog area entrance but no running water at the park.
