Miramar Beach

Miramar Beach allows local residents with dog-on-beach permits to walk their leashed dogs on the beach between the hours of 5pm and 7pm. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Walton County property owners or permanent residents must obtain a permit from the county clerk each year to walk dogs on the beach. Disappointingly Unwelcoming Beach for Dog Owners

As a devoted dog owner, I had eagerly anticipated a leisurely day at Miramar Beach with my furry companion. However, upon arrival, it quickly became apparent that my expectations were far from reality. Miramar Beach, touted as a picturesque destination, proved to be disappointingly unwelcoming to visitors with their furry baby.

    No Dogs on Beach

I was so excited that we we’re staying at Mirama Beach right there by the Gulf. And to my surprise - I can’t walk my lil dog on the beach. Shame on you Mirama Beach.

    Tourists dogs not allowed

zero bones about this beach. Unless you are a landowning dog owner with a permit you will get fined if you bring Fido.
