It is one of the best I used tp meet people there in the morning around 10 AM. The people were so friendly . I could talk to them all day about our dogs. Just a great dog park
- PollyannaSep 21, 2023Big dogs in small dog area
we have been here many times with our dogs over the past couple of years when we visit. However today when we can the small dog park was full of big dogs. We were not happy. Our dogs are small so we had to go to the one that is meant for dogs with medical problem. There was nothing down there for them to interact with. We were highly disappointed
- DeniseAug 20, 2023Nice dog park
There was many dogs when we went while on vacation. There was a nice park attached with many tennis/pickleball courts and and nice playground.
- HayliMay 31, 2023Great Park
This was a wonderful park to visit on our trip to Pigeon Forge. There was plenty of space in the large dog portion for our two pups to run and play. There was hardly anyone at the park so it was quite nice. There were also ample water bowls throughout the park with several jugs of water available. A very clean, safe park that we would recommend to anyone!
- DeborahNov 3, 2022Cute park
after a 4 hr drive to the Smokies we took the pup here to get some exercise since he won’t be off leash outside the next 4 days. It’s a great park and nice for humans. lots of benches where you can sit under a big shade tent. only thing I didn’t care for is my dog is 11 lbs and we went to the small dog side and others came in with 20-30 lb dogs that were VERY active, too active, for the small dog side and too big. we ended up leaving after 15 minutes since the humans didn’t observe the size limits.
- Mary GraceMay 28, 2022Great dog park!
This is a great dog park! Double gates, poop bags, small and large dog areas, and so big!! my dog had a blast.
- VickyApr 23, 2022Great unleashed dog park
Big dog & small dog areas; double gates; water fountain in both areas for people & dogs; grass areas & bark mulch in area of agility equipment; shelter & benches for people - only thing that could have made it any better would have been an area dogs could get into water to cook off. Great public dog park!!
- AmandaFeb 23, 2022Loved the dog park
We came both days that we were here visiting and brought our German Shepherd. She loved it. There were things for her to climb on and PLENTY of other dogs for her to play with. Everyone was so friendly.
The only downside is that the water fountains don’t work for you to fill up the water bowls. But both times we were there, people had brought jugs of water to fill them up, so I don’t think the dogs are ever without water. I guess locals know to bring water out or maybe someone who works for the parks. - Laura kayJan 3, 2022Great for a gsd & dachshund 😊
visiting the area & we came upon this dog park & it was nice! my pups loved it.
it snowed last night so our GSD got to play in the snow like she wanted 😊
thanks Sevierville for the dog park! much appreciated! - AshleyDec 20, 2021an okay park
there was no water to fill the bowls out there. the park was soo muddy and no one cleaned they’re dogs poop. it was about 30 mins from our cabin in gatlinburg.
- JaneDec 17, 2021Great place
Our boy loved being able to run and play. He is a country boy and enjoys a good run. Pups and people very friendly. Do bring water with you due to it being off in the winter. Very clean bags are free so no excuse to leave a mess. A huge park with a small dog side and big dog side. This park is part of a lovely city park so the whole family can play. Will be back.
- LaurelDec 15, 2021Wonderful dog oasis, nice owners.
Staying in Sevierville for a week so this has become our go to place. Plenty of room for dogs to roam, trees and some agility equipment. Ours are in the Large Dog section. all the owners seemed chill and understanding of dog behavior. Some yappers at the fence in the small dog section but enough room to ignore. in the morning mostly had to ourselves, our two made friends at the late afternoon more crowded time.
- JoeOct 24, 2021Nice and large space
both large and small areas have plenty of room to move. had one in large area and one in small area.
- RandyOct 24, 2021No dogs under 6 months
No dogs under six months, ok I understand but if you can’t enter the park bring your own chairs or don’t bother coming here. In the area outside the fenced park there is lots of open park area and not a bench in sight. Several shade trees and not a bench in sight.
- TanyaSep 3, 2021Good park near Gatlinburg
Hiking trip to Smokies, took my 8mo Aussie puppy here for afternoon exercise as the Nat’l Park only has 2 dog friendly trails we’ve already done this week. Super weird local lady in the small dog area so moved over to the large dog area. Big enough for ball chasing, some shaded area, and a water source. Seemed pretty picked up as for as land mines go, but definitely some muddy areas in the shade. Learned the hard way with our last dog to always travel with shampoo, wipes, extra lead and collar :) Recommend an old harness/collar before heading over to this park and having some towels or doggy wipes for cleanup afterwards. Other than the weird lady, the other locals were very friendly and dogs very well behaved. Also, there is a playground for kids in same complex. This is a great place to stop if you’re traveling!
- TimMay 2, 2021Wish there was a park like this at home!
Very large and well maintained park available to everyone. I was in the area for a wedding and wanted to spend a day for me and my fur baby, this was a perfect place. My dog Sheila made lots of new friends and I met several friendly local dog owners.
After about an hour and a half someone came in with some unruly dogs, which one of the locals warned me about, but other than that it was a great experience😀 - AubreyApr 20, 2021Friendly Dog park
We visited here on vacation in Tennessee it is the best dog park in the Pidgeon Forge area. Water bowls and fountains provided. You do not need to have a permit. There is also a little obstacle course for the dogs to check out. Our dog loved that and was jumping the little hurdles all by herself!
- ChristineMar 24, 2021Time to run
After being cooped up on our drive from northern Illinois to TN, we were happy to let our beastie run and play with others for a while. Nice park. There is a water fountain at the entrance and water bowls throughout the large dog section. Pet parents fill up the bowls for others to use later. The park is smaller than I thought, but the beast didn’t mind. Bring your beast to the park to release some energy.

took my 9 month old puppy to this dog park and after a little hesitation he opened up and played really well with the other dogs
- CandaceOct 7, 2020Great Size
We stopped at this nice dog park on our way back to Georgia from a wedding. We were very appreciative to have a place to let our black lab run and play before the long trip home! It was nice and spacious. There were a couple of dogs at the time. One hound he find that he liked and played with! I would have given 5 stars but the water source was out side the park which was out of the way to go let the dogs drink which were not used to with our dog park at home. It was also a bit muddy. But all in all well worth the stop for him to run his legs and enjoy his morning.
- MelissaSep 7, 2020Fun To Run
Our standard poodle loved the open space to run in the large dog area. could also run along and say hi to friends in separate small dog area. both areas were nice spacious and grassy. connected with a nice recreation area
- VickiMay 9, 2019Great Dog Park!
Perfect in every way!
- KeithApr 2, 2019Best In Show
Surprise gem. Well thought out. Clean. Great views. Adjacent to large park so the other family members can swim, run around, play tennis, whatever. Separate large and small dog sections.
- LunaMar 19, 2019Best Dog Park!
This park is amazing. We are from FL and traveled to the mountains in TN. We were in desperate need to let some energy out. The park was large, shaded areas, water bowls. Meet the friendliest dogs and people. It is def worth the drive!
- TheresaMar 15, 2019Great Park
Such a nice place! Our pups Zeus and Apollo loved it here. The park was very clean. Poo bags were provided. They even had a doggie drinking fountain. We visited everyday that we were vacationing in the area. All the other pups were very nice. Our boys enjoyed playing with new friends. The park is nicely groomed with grassy and mulched areas.
- BritneyMore than a year agogreat time
Been in the truck for over 11 hours not including stops. Needed a spot to let Tom go since he is not used to a leash and won’t poop on one. Saw minimal poops left behind and since we are Canadian and the heat was a bit of a shock the watering system was perfect to stay hydrated and fill Toms travel water container. Hoping for another dog to be around to play with but only a cocker spaniel that was much to fast for this Great Dane lol. Also the whole park is well kept for kids and adults.
- Mary JudeMore than a year agoAwesome off leash dog park!
We were traveling from NY to TX and our 8 month old lab puppy did not appreciate being on the leash doing his business. We found the park by accident but actually planned our return trip 3 weeks later around the park. We had the park all to ourselves which was a complete added bonus!
- JayJun 16, 2018Lazy pickers
This is a great park, but people are lazy and don’t pick up land mines. Don’t ruin it for the rest respect others and follow the rules.
- AllisonJun 11, 2018Fantastic Park
My dog and I stayed in Kodak TN for the night on our roadtrip from Michigan to south carolina. After 11 hours in the car, my dog was ready to get outside and this park was the perfect place. Beautiful and big fenced in park with separate sections for large and small dogs. Dog park is well maintained, water bowls and obstacles inside, and lots of shade. There's also a paved path through the rest of the park and along the river. It was a great end to a long day. We will be going back tomorrow before we leave.
- BethJun 4, 2018Wondeful!
This is the only dog park in the region and they did it right! We have driven from the National park 3 times in the last week to let our dogs work off some energy. I love that they have this park and have made sure to spend our money here to support the town just for this reason.
- JaniceMore than a year agoHappy Travels
We are visiting the area for a month. Thank you for having such a wonderful and safe place to take our two dogs to play. It makes us keep wanting to come back to the area in our travels. This is a model park. Congratulations.
- LaurenMore than a year agoFantastic!
Huge, beautiful park! Safe gates, small and large dog areas, hoses and dog drinking fountains, lots of benches, lots of shade, and free bags.
Will be going back a few times a week, our three dogs had a blast. Open until 9pm in the summer, don't recall winter hours.
