Wonderful, huge dog park! The locals really take pride in it and maintain it. It is very well used and is the meeting place for many. There is a small and a large dog park and they are actually the cleanest dog parks I've visited. Just a short distance from Balloon Fiesta Park it is a welcome break for our dogs.

This is the only dog park in the region and they did it right! We have driven from the National park 3 times in the last week to let our dogs work off some energy. I love that they have this park and have made sure to spend our money here to support the town just for this reason.

Wonderful dog friendly covered porch with fans. We did not have to ask for water as they keep a pan that was freshly filled and brought over. The menu is extensive and the food excellent. The service was attentive without being intrusive. This is really worth going out of your way to visit!

Four bones only because of the rates. Around $100 a night on avg. Much more ocean front spaces. The spaces are roomy and generally level. The spots are privately owned. The park has a dog park and is right on the dog friendly beach! That is the reason we picked it. There are two pools and spa, not dog friendly. Great location. The beach can be driven on.

I did not want to go Atsena Otie Key after reading the reviews but we plugged in the address to see what the beach looked like. The address took us to The Cedar Key City Beach, lil Shark Beach. It is a lovely dog friendly beach! It has a shallow, roped off swim area, clean bathrooms, picnic tables and a little shade. We had a great time with our dogs here. We never saw the key mentioned.

The beach is located just past the ferry to Dauphin Island and before the entrance to the fort. Park across the street from the yellow houses and you are there! Watch the drop off, keep your dog leashed but enjoy!

The warning for the alligators and snakes are on every fence, by the water, and then there are people who warn you. Nice park open to the lake but the warnings are just too much for dogs that love water.
