We were headed through Florida and discovered this little gem of a dog park. Lots of room for Tessie to run and play. Bonus: the restrooms were immaculate. We will definitely stop by again when in the area.

They just redid the drainage in the park, which came out nice. The large dog area is spacious, lots of area for the pup to run around. A big pavilion to hang out in. But thats where the problem is, two large wet mud holes on each side of the ramp leading up. Probably a leaking pipe from the dog fountain. Definitely not enough shade trees. The small dog side, no mud holes, smaller area, little shade, pavilion but still nice. Hoses and dog fountain in front area, convenient for washing down your pup. Restroom available.

I’ve been taking my pups here for the past 3 years! It is the best dog park I’ve been to near home. The people are friendly and don’t try to push politics or fad dog diets on you, the dogs all get along great, and not to mention it’s FREE. It does get quite muddy if it has rained recently but other than that it’s great. Most people come after 5:30pm and stay till after dark.. a lot of the dogs that come regularly have light up LED collars so they can play even after the sun sets. The park is split up into two sections for big and small dogs but most dogs come to the big side regardless of size. There are benches and a gazebo on both sides as well as two doggy water fountains. no water fountains for people though so plan on bringing a bottle for yourself. No one discriminates on dog breeds and most dogs here are mutts anyways. As long as you’re conscientious about basic dog park etiquette (i.e not bringing a dog in heat, not bringing an aggressive dog, not bringing items that may cause a fight like bones or treats) this park will continue to be the best!

2/12/18. We live in this area and were happy to find this new dog park. It’s large with 2 separate areas for dogs under and dogs over 30 pounds. There are about 3 benches in the larger section with ramps and “hoop” structures for dogs to run through if so inclined. A couple of water fountain areas plus a hose (not surprisingly that area was muddy as the hose is partially on concrete and the ground). Because this park is new, there are no large trees for shade, so it will definitely be very hot to sit out come summertime; will have to plan for very early or very late then. But for now our dog and we are enjoying it. Have had some nice conversations with other friendly and conscientious dog owners. Grateful to have this park about 5 mins from our home!
