- BillOct. 5, 2021Definitely dog friendly
we saw plenty of dogs and all of them were getting a lot of attention by everyone in the store . The store itself is huge I would not miss it there is plenty for husbands and wives and kids to see
- ErinAug. 25, 2021Really neat store
I’m not much into knives (I’m a klutz), but this store has so much more. Our dog was treated like the princess she is, and hubby got to look at a store that kept his interest.
- GeraldJul. 25, 2021Awesome place
everyone was amazing very doggie friendly and extremely accommodating to my lab
- JesseMay. 5, 2021Great Place
Brought 2 small dogs, some employees were very welcoming. Could spend way too much time in this place lol.

After visiting the Lodge Factory Outlet, we walked over to the Knife Works to see what it was about. We walked right in with our Husky. I can’t say that the staff was welcoming, as no-one approached us, but we weren’t asked to leave either.

we brought our puppy and everyone was very welcoming.

They brought him a cup of water. He had an ice cream. Hubby shopped puppy gets spoiled. Fun for all!
- BeckieAug. 8, 2020Fun for everyone
This is a great location to bring your pup. The staff was so sweet to our pup and came out from around their booths to pet her! The only downside is that this is a very popular location so if your pup is not used to crowds I recommend they stay home! My pup had a great time and will most likely be visiting again.

So much to see in this store. All the staff loves seeing her!
- BrookeNov. 23, 2019Very Friendly
Had a blast, people loved seeing and petting her. She is a 57 pound girl so medium in size but definitely not a carry dog. Very welcoming. A lot of people though.
- BrandyMay. 10, 2019Everyone Is Welcoming Of Pets Of All Sizes
I was walking around outside with my two large dogs after reading posts that only small dogs were welcome. Apparently they used to make fudge in the store so health regulations wouldn’t allow dogs on the floor. They no longer do that and everyone was extremely welcoming!
- KellyMay. 7, 2019Very dog friendly
Great store to bring my golden retriever in. No one asked me to leave and everyone, including the staff, loved him coming in. Of course, he's well behaved and he doesn't bark much in public so if your dog isn't well mannered in a public place, you may be taking a chance with bringing your dog here.
- CourtneyApr. 24, 2019Great trip for us and our pup
We brought our 30 lb. pup to walk around and found the staff to be very welcoming. Peanut was in her glory as everyone wanted to pet and love on her. It started even before we walked through the door with the guy in the bbq food truck. He came over to pet her and give her a treat... btw, great bbq sandwiches there!
Bonus: across the parking lot is the Lodge cast iron store and they are super dog friendly too! - ShellyMar. 21, 2019Small dogs only
Just called, they only allow small dogs that you can carry or put in a stroller.
- RobynSep. 1, 2018Very dog friendly !!
We brought our 60 pound pitty in and all the staff was very welcoming and friendly. She even gave a few some smooches😁 Definitely didn't have the problem the one reviewer had and we found them to be very dog loving.
- AprilJul. 8, 2018Very welcoming!
After reading the previous reviews I made sure to carry my dog. However upon entering I had multiple employees let me know that I was allowed to let her down. (We have a 45 pound mutt) all of the employees were very welcoming and would come over to pet her. I definitely did not get the unwelcome feeling that others have complained of. Everyone was great!
- AllisonJun. 16, 2018Only "small dog in a stroller" friendly
Brought our medium size Aussie in, she barked twice. We were told we couldn't bring her in unless she was off the floor and she was being too disruptive. No signs at door about this from what we could see.
