Fun for my Border Collie and I!

My Border Collie puppy and I enjoyed the park. We went on the hiking trails and walked on the beach. It was relatively quiet when we went. We only met a couple people on the trails. I enjoyed seeing the native Venus fly traps. It was a great experience for my puppy as well.

Great State Park with Free Admission

This State Park has multiple trails you can take. We did a mix of 3. My dog loved it with all the smells. Was very nice park with easy trails some are handicap accessible as well. Path ways are kept nice (aside from leaves and pine needles) have to watch your step with some of the roots that come up. Passed multiple other dogs on the trails.

    Nice relaxing park

Stitch and I spent an afternoon hiking the trails. we also went in to the Visitor Center and the lady at the counter was so helpful! We will definitely be going back!
side note: Stitch says watch out for burrs/stickers he got a couple lodged in his paw pad so just be mindful!

    Nice Campground And Trails

Nice camp sites with plenty of privacy. Keep Fido in a leash or a tie out though. Lots of opportunity for Fido to run into the woods and encounter a Copperhead!

Bad experince recrived a citation for my dog off leash.

My dog was wedding in a pond cooling off she was hot and I let her go into water the lady ranger came running toward me from her truck saying our dog's are off leash and written me a citation. I been to court two times and still got to return they keep putting it off because she not showing up at court.
I called a lawyer they said I might have to do community service. t be around 500.00 plus court fee's and
I don't have it know they treating me like a criminal in new Hanover county court system I have lost money out of work to appear to be conquered again.
I never go back to that park again, It was wrong I did nothing wrong.

    Carolina beach state park

I love going here on the weekends. My dog and I go at leat twice a month. there are bags to clean up after your dog and trash cans. It is very nice and trail goes to the water so your dog can play in it. To walk all trails takes about 3hrs and that includes some dog fun in water. There are a few small ponds along the trails only when it has rained. Camping area is very nice too.
