If your dog can handle a lot of stimuli from big trucks, a very popular gas station, a lotttt of people, children playing and a lot of other dogs, then this is a fantastic travel stop! It has restaurants, a Starbucks, everything a family would need. However, it was just too much for my dog. We ended up leaving and stopping at the next rest center a mile west instead.

This place looked really fun and my sister was bouncing around with excitement to get in when suddenly I heard the high pitched screams of something dying. I looked around but all I could see in the direction of the screams were these weird trees. My parents kept looking up at the tops of the weird trees. I noticed no birds in the trees. What kind of evil tree has no birds? Another gust of wind bought me the sound of a wailing that I am sure was warning us of certain death. I lunged for the car and after some convincing my parents agreed to give up the plans for a fun romp in a grassy fenced in area and get back in the car and finish our trip. It wasn't until we could no longer see it and hear it's cries that I was sure it hadn't followed us.
Now a message from my mom: the metal palm trees made a high pitched sound whenever the wind blew that scared one of my dogs to the point that she was shaking and whining. We left without enjoying the park.

Literally an ‘oasis’ with two fenced dog areas (one for small, one for large dogs) , a kids playground and plus lots of food options for humans. Great stop for all!!
