Arthur B Ripley Desert Woodland State Park
Dogs are welcome at the picnic area at Arthur B. Ripley Desert Woodland State Park, but like other state parks in California, they are not allowed on the trails. This park preserves native Joshuas and junipers which once grew in great abundance throughout the valley. The park is free to enter and open from sunrise to sunset.
