Big Lagoon State Park

Big Lagoon State Park in Pensacola, FL, is dog friendly. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy the tidal marshes, paddling routes, and to view the extensive variety of wildlife. There are five miles of hiking trails for you and Fido to enjoy together, as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them. Most of the park remains closed

Most of the park remains closed and its features inaccessible as of February 2023. There is one long open sandy loop walking trail that skirts the big lagoon. The full day use fee still applies, making visits a poor value except for state park pass holders.

    Good walk for the dogs

parts of the park were still closed because of hurricane damage, but it was still a nice park to walk the dogs.
