Manatee Springs State Park
Manatee Springs State Park in Chiefland, FL, is dog friendly. Unfortunately, Fido is not welcome on the boardwalks that make this park famous, but that doesn't mean they can't have a great time in this interesting area! There are 8.5 miles of nature trails in the area, so you can explore the cypress swamps, sinkhole ponds and uplands together and there's even a safe connection to the 32-mile Nature Coast State Trail if you're hungry for more. Dogs on a leash under six-feet can also wade into the spring run at the canoe launch with their owners, but are not permitted in buildings or the swimming area.
