Hillsdale State Park

Hillsdale State Park in Paola, KS is dog friendly. You are welcome to bring your pooch to this popular park to enjoy the Hillsdale Reservoir and the surrounding wildlife and recreation area. On the five miles of designated trails, you may come across whitetail deer, bobwhite quail, squirrel, rabbit, beaver, muskrat, and a variety of waterfowl. Dogs who prefer looking up to the skies may be lucky enough to spot bald eagles, shorebirds, finches, warblers, sparrows, and hawks. There are an additional 32 miles of equestrian hiking trails that double up as great dog walking tracks. Fido is allowed on all the trails if they are on a leash under ten-feet in length.
