Prairie Dog State Park
Dogs are allowed at Prairie Dog State Park, a pet-friendly area in Norton, KS. Take your pup along the 1.5-mile nature trail which offers great views of the lake. Prairie dogs can be viewed from Prairie Dog trailhead, the first 1000 feet of which is concrete and easily accessible. To preserve the wildlife in the area, dog owners must keep their pets on a leash and clean up any mess that they leave behind.
