Reid State Park

Reid State Park is a dog-friendly area in Georgetown, ME. This popular park has beautiful white sandy beaches, but Fido is only permitted on State Park beaches in Maine from October 1st to March 31st. When you visit Griffith Head in the park, you'll discover a rocky headland that overlooks the rest of the park and a number of seascapes. There are lighthouses in the area as well, including on Sequin Island and Hendricks Head. You can bring Fido with you around the park if they are on a leash under six feet, as long as you clean up any mess after them. Visit Website

Or call (207) 371-2303 or email dacf@maine.gov for more information.

    Pretty park and beach

Nice park, really pretty beach, but no dogs allowed in the summer, and bird watchers will be quick to tell you so.
