Dogs are welcome to join their owners at Mount Tom State Reservation. Located just a stone's throw away from downtown Holyoke, this stunning park spans 2,161 acres of trees and rolling hills. There are 22 miles of trails to explore with your pooch, some of which lead to brilliant views of the Pioneer Valley in west-central Massachusetts. You are invited to bring your pooch with you to enjoy the many trails and picnic areas around the park, as long as they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them.     Mt Tom North Trailhead Park

    We went to the area looking to hike Mt Tom itself but ended up instead at this little park. We did a short hike up to the Eyrie House Ruins, and it was awesome! Cool views and history. Just had to watch for glass on the ground around the ruins.
