Charles A. Lindbergh State Park

Charles A. Lindbergh State Park is a beautiful, pet-friendly recreation area in Little Falls, MN. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the trails that lead through grand red and white pine, aspen, oak forests and vast prairie areas. Birdwatchers come from all around to check out the bald eagles in flight, swooping high in the sky above. The Mississippi River and Pike Creek meander through the park too, so bring a kayak if Fido doesn't mind bobbing in the water! Pets should be leashed for the duration of their visit and all mess cleaned up after them. Visit Website

Or call (320) 616-2525 or email calindbergh.statepark@state.mn.us for more information.

    Went All The Time!!

I walked in this park with my doggy, Caleb ALL THE TIME! Many, many trails! A nice picnic area too :-) always saw other dogs as well :-) (on leashes I believe everyone). I would recommend!

Nice, but be prepared for bugs (it’s summer after all)

Nice campground with shaded sites and a creek that runs behind the campground. Hiking challenging only due to lots of mosquitoes and some muddy spots on trails: couldn’t stop to take photos because of mosquitoes. Smaller state park with Lindbergh home/museum across from the State Park (with separate admission fee). There were notes on bathrooms and shower doors that hot water may be an issue, and to let staff/campground hosts know if it is an issue. No problems while we were there.
