Benton Falls Trail
Benton Falls Trail is a dog-friendly hike in Tennessee located within Cherokee National Forest. The falls are a great place to visit with your pup to check out the water cascading over the rocks. You can bring Fido to enjoy the 3-mile path, as long as they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them.

This is a 1.5 mile hike each way on mostly sandy paths. When you approach the falls there is about a thousand feet of steep and slippery rock stairs to the base of the falls. Agile dogs won’t have much issue, but my long legger had to navigate very slowly. He enjoyed walking in the water and cooling off. There isn’t really a place to sit and relax before the return hike.
