Dogs are allowed on a leash under six feet at the pet-friendly Jay Cooke State Park in Carlton, MN. This public recreation area is a paradise for dog walkers, with 50 miles of wooded trails along the river banks and a further eight miles of paved trails elsewhere in the park.     Beautiful place to hike with your dog

    A lot of people, but a comfortable place to walk with a dog. Many dogs might be afraid of the swinging bridge (mine belly crawls across it).

    very dog approved- my dog loooved the hike and there were numerous other people out with their dogs too.
