Jay Cooke State Park
Dogs are allowed on a leash under six feet at the pet-friendly Jay Cooke State Park in Carlton, MN. This public recreation area is a paradise for dog walkers, with 50 miles of wooded trails along the river banks and a further eight miles of paved trails elsewhere in the park. Pups and their owners who visit in the spring will be astonished by the amount of wildflowers in bloom. To preserve the cleanliness of the park, please clean up after your pet.

A lot of people, but a comfortable place to walk with a dog. Many dogs might be afraid of the swinging bridge (mine belly crawls across it).
