Lums Pond State Park
Lums Pond State Park is a 1,800-acre dog-friendly preserve in Bear, DE, and a popular area for hiking and boating. The Swamp Forest Trail is located within the park and is a hidden gem that should prove Delaware’s worth to avid hikers. This popular woodland trail runs through wetland forests on the edge of Lums Pond, providing a shaded stomp that leads to bridges and boardwalk sections. Visitors with Fido should also visit Lums Pond Dog Park, located at the northeast end of the park.
