I love this park, but there are many
"no dogs" signs, and I'm not sure where I'm allowed to bring my pooch. Great for families, picnicking, disc golf, fishing, but not so good for dogs.

I play Disc Golf down at turkey lake all the time with my puppy, there is PLENTY of places here to walk your dog. Just not in the picnic areas, the park is huge, and have plenty of paths to take your dog for a walk on.

I really feel like I lost the 4 dollars and the time I spent at this park. Even do there is a lot of space, everywhere is a "NO DOGS ALLOWED" sign. I truly belive this is a NON DOG FRIENDLY PARK.
- HelenMore than a year agoGreat for walking
If you're looking for a place to walk your dog, this park is great. There are a lot of shaded areas and long paths where you and your dog can walk. Beautiful scenery and friendly people. Dogs are not allowed in the picnic areas, playground, or fishing pier area but there is still plenty of space for them. Bring your own water and pick up bags.
