Fair park is a fantastic place if you live near downtown. Having that said, the owners and dogs that frequent the park are not so fantastic. Aggressive dogs everywhere with little to no owner oversight. Our dog has gotten attacked multiple times and not a single owner has lifted a finger or removed their dog.

This park was a great location. Easy parking and comfortable for both dogs and owners. Plenty of clean up and water stations. has agility course and plenty of rooms for zoomies.

Park is clean and owners clean up after their dogs. People are very friendly. Also a good walking trail circling the soccer fields. I go to the passive area almost daily and my Corgi and I love it. Highly recommended.

Address listed is wrong it’s a few minutes from downtown put “Fair grounds dog park” in maps. The park is sizeable with toys to play but there’s lots of poop left behind. Sprinklers go off at 11am and 2pm for cleaning the turf but it can’t always wash away the messes that aren’t picked up. If your dog is a jumper it will be able to jump over the wires that block off the plants and dirt. Lots of nice people I just wish the park was more cleanly.
- JessicaJun. 9, 2021Great location but tends to be overcrowded
We use to love taking our GSP to this park when it first opened, but lately it’s been very overcrowded which leads to aggressive behavior in a lot of the dogs. best to go on weekdays during “off” hours or late evening/early morning on weekends.

park is on the corner of Bransford Av and Craigshead St. There are several items in an obstacle course, a swimming pool and entry of water dishes. Bring your own ball and toys. A clean restroom is across the driveway. Con: several piles of poop were left behind on the turf.
- StevenJun. 3, 2020Great turf park for active and passive dogs
The fairgrounds park has 2 areas, posted for active and passive dogs. The passive area tends to be mostly smaller dogs, but all sizes are in the active part of the park. The park surface is turf, some bark, some rocks, and concrete sidewalk. Some owners are not great at picking up their dogs poop, but aggressive and wild dogs (and owners) are extremely rare. Pre-COVID I was here twice a day
