Great small dog park with access to the beach

The large dog side is sandy with a paved walk to shade. The small dog side is grassed and both have access to the beach.

    Great for small dogs

We had our 5-6lb Havanese and a mini dachshund and it was perfect for them. I think large dog owners would be disappointed. Nice that there is a covered picnic table so you could technically eat lunch while the dogs are safely in the gated area.

    Bark Park

Great to have access to the water! It was difficult to find, very little signage, use your GPS!

Take your pup to the beach!

This was a cute little dog park that has a sandy fenced area for the pups to play and access to the water! Our pup was not so much a fan of the water, but he loved playing in the sand and exploring! Everyone we encountered was very friendly!

    Small and Quiet

This park is small but very quiet. The sand is a beautiful white and there is access to a beach. The beach is gated separately from the park so you can chose whether or not to go in that section. We found that the beach area was not well fenced on the water. Our pups are large and capable of walking fairly far out or swimming and could easily breach past the water line fences. Just be aware of your pups abilities. We enjoyed it as did our pups and will return.

    Fun time

We had a fun time at this park. Yes, it’s small, but it was empty and we enjoyed it. Our dogs got to swim and play on the sand.

    nice beach for free run

This was the second beach that we visited with the dogs. It was very well kept with plenty of room for the dogs to have some off leash time. It had bowls chained to the poles of the pavilion to use for fresh water. There were other dogs there but all were friendly and swimming. Our german shepherd Hank got in the water but didn't swim but our little yorkie Lily absolutely loved it. She loved swimming and being off leash. Would definitely recommend this beach for a doggie swim, just remember to bring fresh water.

    SO MUCH FUN!

We had a great time, loved the sand and beach, our dog is rebel and likes to swim our far in the ocean so a little more fencing would have been nice, and there was sadly an aggressive dog there but luckily we could go to the beach side and shut the gate!

    Very misleading

So wanted to take my dog for a walk on the Gulf beach. When we get to the “said gulf park” in Perdido Key we were redirected to this site on river road! It’s a dog park with 75 foot to 100‘ of waterfront. It’s just a joke if you think you’re taking your dog for a walk on the beach! The web search is very misleading...like Perdido Key is some sort of great place to visit for Gulf beaches with your canines. Is this the best our tax dollars can do? What a let down and talk about false advertising Don’t waste your time! Go to Dauphin Island Alabama where you can really walk your dog on the gulf beach!!!

    Small But Adequate

Traveling with two dogs in an RV has us always looking for dog parks. This was a few minutes from our camp site. It was perfectly adequate for some off leash time. It’s in fairly good condition, mostly beach sand with a little grass. Shaded area to sit and the park includes access to the beach. It’s fenced on both sides. However, fencing on the right side is easy to get around. Our dog found out immediately. There was only one other dog there so they all played for a while.

    Great, small dog beach

We really enjoyed bringing our dogs to this quaint, secluded little beach. We actually liked that it was smaller. It was sort of crowded when bigger dogs came in, especially since we have a smaller dog. . It was clean and there is a small agility course set up when you come in. No running water so don’t forget to bring some bottles and bowls for your fur babies. Nicely done.

    Filthy and Small

Feces laying everywhere. Long grass full of vermin. No bags. No water. Overpowering stench of crap. Appears little or no upkeep is ever done. Small beach. Filthy water. My wife thinks she saw a man masturbating in his car. Never again!!!!

    Great Place For The Pups!

Thanks Perdido Key for thinking about our fur babies.

We arrived around 8:30 and had the place to ourselves. The dogs loved being unleashed, walking on the sand, and getting into the water.

Nice Close Spot To Take The Pup

If you’re staying in the area, this is a good off-leash spot to take your dog to run around in the sand. Poo-bags are provided and everything is fenced in so you won’t have any runaways.
