    Visit the pet-friendly Beach Haven Doggy Bay in Beach Haven, NJ. During the off-season, from September 16th until May 14th, leashed pups are welcome to join their owners for a fun day in the sun.       Confused..

      I’m planning to be down in Beach Haven at the end of this month with our dog and the description on this bay beach is confusing…can I bring my dog to this doggy bay beach in August?

      Not So Dog Beach?

      I’m confused about people saying you can’t bring your dogs here...? I brought my pup here all summer long and had no problems? Maybe things have changed, I don’t know. GREAT park, though! This was the first park I took my dog to as a pup and she loves it. She can tend to get overwhelmed to being able to take her in the water for a break then back on land was great! Four out of five because it’s not fenced in which is concerning, but any good dog owner should be watching their dog anyway. Yet, my dog runs a million miles an hour so anything can happen! I’ve only had one negative experience of someone bringing their aggressive dog, but they were relatively on top of it! Definitely recommend...if it’s still a dog beach?

      NOTICE

      Dogs are not permitted on the beach at any place within the Borough of Beach Haven, from May 15th through September 15th. Dogs may resume use of the beaches from September 16th until May 14th. Dogs may use the bay beach at Taylor Avenue.

      Small but very good

      A small beach on the Bay Side with many friendly dogs to play with. Some flies :(
