Very nice large park with water fountain for dogs to drink as well as a kiddie pool for them to splash in. Wanted to mention that Apple Maps directions were wrong which confused us for a minute but googled maps brought us to the correct location. We will be going back here for sure!
- DianeFeb 6, 2024Awesome Dog Park with lots of room to run
It was such a privilege to visit this park today with our 2 year old Bernedoodle puppy today. Huge park with large balls, lots of room to run, little water pool, and drinking water. So much appreciated this gem while we are traveling. 5/5.

Wow what a place! The most beautiful dog park we have ever been to and we have gone to a ton in our travels!!! Big, beautiful, very clean and super nice people and dogs. We were just in town for the night but this park is worth the extra stop if ever in the “neighborhood” again! Mulligan gives 4 paws up!
- MarcieDec 13, 2021Great dog park
Our miniature schnauzers have never been at an off leash dog Park before so we didn’t know what to expect because they are quite the barkers on their leash but they didn’t bark once they made friends ran around and played I love the way they separate the small dogs on one side and the larger dogs on the other side and have a human walking trail as well it was overall a great experience we love to get our breakfast sandwich in the morning right there at McDonald’s and sit and watch the dogs and then take ours when we are finished eating it’s a great place!

Wonderful dog park. Had to have some mechanical work done while traveling and needed to pass some time. Perfect place! Lots of friendly dogs and people. Would definitely recommend you and your dog visit.

One of the best dog parks I’ve seen and we’ve traveled all over the U.S.!

This park is actually pretty great - a side for small dogs and a side for larger dogs. The only problem is that no "official" is there; a massive dog was quite aggressive - the first thing it did when it came in was mild-attack another dog and it did it to 2 others there. I confronted the owner, who insisted that was "how he plays" and he refused to even attempt to calm his dog down. I told him he needed to take care of it or I would; when the dog attacked another dog and the owner did nothing, I called the number on the sign out front and no one answered. We ended up leaving because of that dog.
But I've been multiple times with my small dog and my bigger dog and have had no problems. 99.9% of the people and dogs are friendly and I can even let my 16lbs maltipoo into the big dog side with my 60lbs pit & even though the dogs are a lot bigger than my little one, they're friendly and play excellently with him.
My only problem is that it's not monitored for the rare instances like aggressive dogs. - LaurenMore than a year agorestricted use
I saw the dog park and it looked nice. We didn’t go in because there were more dogs than my dog would be comfortable with. So I decided to walk the paved path that they have at the park with her. She was on a short lease the whole time and people could see that I clearly had my doggie bags. We were halfway done when we were told that dogs weren’t allowed and told several times to go to the dog park. We didn’t see any signs posted until a lady pointed them out. They weren’t clearly visible. She said that you can get in trouble and had seen people have it happen to them. We went back to then car and left. I’ve never been to a park where the only option is the dog park. Very disappointed.

The park is good. Since there no one to man the park I have seen newborn baby in the large dog area. I would be afraid to have any small children. there since the dogs are running around and could knock them over. but a baby that kind of dangerous to me. anyway for adult with dogs a good place to be. Wish they had a swimming pond for the dogs.

This is the nicest dog park we have ever been to. They have a large and a small dog section, each one is very large with plenty of room for a lot of running, even the small dog section is quite large, and it is always cool, good seating area under shade trees, water available for the dogs in both areas, it is well kept, clean, grass cut and clear of debris. The dogs are friendly, no aggressive ones that we have ever encountered, and people actually pick up after their dogs. We give it as many bones as can be.

Nice park to visit. As with any dog park, you have a mix of dogs & owners. There are some of each that I don't care for, but it's a nice sized area for big dogs, so you can simply move away to another section of the park. The park is closed on Wed & Thurs. this is mainly to let the grass recover so that there will continue to be grass there. Dog parks with no days closed become dirt pits with no grass.

This dog park is run by volunteers. I have been taking my rescue Dobermans here since it opened and have never had any problems. There are poop-baggy and trash cans, as well as water stations. The little kiddie pools will help keep your pooch cool. Closed on Thursday and Fridays so the grass can be mown and volunteers get a break.
- JohnMore than a year agoCannot rate as park was closed
Park is now closed Wednesday and Thursday. This is a change from the web sites , which show Thursday and Friday. 160 miles for nothing today. It is the only dog park I know which is closed on some days. Why is that?

When I first got my boxer pup we went here and I must say I was not happy with ONE dog owner who's three dogs attacked my pup and I so I started going to a park in citrus county which controls things better but there is a fee due to my work schedule I couldn't get out that way as much as I wanted so this past Saturday I tried millennium park again and I was VERY HAPPY with all of the people and dogs there my 11 month old very hyper boxer had a blast I will be going again just sad it's not open 7days a week to fit everybody's needs it's not like someone is there Manding the gate who would need a day off and from what I've seen everyone takes pride it keeping this place clean.

loved this park and will visit frequently. Our 3 Standard Poodles ran, met new dog friends and unfortunately splashed in the mud puddle from the recent rain, but they had lots of fun!

Well, if you have a child under 12 here they will be sure to kick you out, but they'll let aggressive dogs in here and do nothing or say nothing when they attack! My dog&I got attacked by another dog and the owner stood 2 feet away and watched and did nothing to call off her dog, her dog drew blood from mine very badly and from me and all she did was cuss at me and leave, meanwhile I had to rush my scared dog to the vet. The "pool" is just a kiddie pool from Wal-Mart that's very dirty unless someone visiting rinses it, and the small dog area is all sand. The walking path is not dog friendly so it is inconvenient if you just want somewhere to walk your dog. Overall, you're better off and safer going to another park.

I gave 2 stars because we drove 40 minutes because we thought it had human and dog pools. There isn't people pools and the dog pools are the cheap kiddie pools from Walmart

Great park. So beautiful. Lots of open areas and pet stations. But it is CLOSED on Thursdays and Fridays, which are my only time off.
- Jean marieMore than a year agoWe miss all you
Above you will see Annie who loved the park the 2 yrs. we were in Ocala Fl. We came back home to Ohio but would love to hear from someone down there. I met some wonderful dogs and owners!
- KevinMore than a year agoNice Place
Very large fenced-in area for dogs. One side is for large dogs and the other side is for the smaller ones, safely separated by a chain link fence. Lots of balls to chase, culverts to run through or jump over, kiddie pools to rinse off in and fresh water to drink. Very well maintained.Beautiful city park with picnic tables, great walking trails, play ground, basketball courts and baseball diamonds surround the dog park,so bring the whole family.

This is really a very nice park for both the pets and the owners. They have small pools for the dogs to play in, balls scattered about to play with, concrete tunnels for the dogs to crawl through, and plastic bags to clean up after your furry friend. There is water for the dogs to drink but I would not recommend it. Bring your own. This is a volunteer park, so donations are invited.
