It is HUGE! So many trails, you feel like you’re hiking, not just at a dog park. There are poop bags and garbage bags sprinkled throughout as well. By far the best dog park!

My boyfriend and I just got our first pup. and this is the first park we went. we love it! this our new favorite.

Ok... So did Finnley! We loved being able to walk for what could have felt like forever. Great walking paths and open spaces for play. You’ll find new friends around every corner, so if you are expecting to have a quiet, relatively undisturbed off-leash adventure, you may need to look elsewhere.

I love this park! My dogs love this park! My dogs love cooling off in the ponds! There are plenty of hills for me to climb.

Battle Creek is the best dog park in the Twin Cities. It is very large and offers a variety off attractions from open fields for running, ponds for swimming, and trails covering the large park. It is a fantastic getaway for city dogs who want to run!

This dog park is the literal bomb, my Saint loves it here. Just please be aware that there are a couple areas with burr bushes. It was a bitch to get them out of my doggo. but other than that there are clean poop bags and waste bins everywhere so you dont need to fret if you forget a bag. There are picnic tables for if you wanna chill and read while your dog swims, and if you have a flighty dog, there is an enclosed pond too.

My friend and I visited this park with her deaf boxer. It was so much fun. Huge space! Clean. Dogs and owners super friendly. Lots of varied terrain and ponds. Great walking trails too. Bring your gps though for your first visit. We had to use Google maps to find our way out! Awesome dog park.
- CaseyMore than a year agoThe Best I've Found So Far
The pooch and I have tried quite a few different Dog Parks in the area, and this is the clear winner. It's huge, there is quite a variety of terrain to explore, and we've always had good encounters with other dogs and people.
The volunteers do a great job of keeping the place clean, the bowls full of water, and the dispensers full of new poop bags.
It's free, and there aren't any hoops to jump through for admittance like some other parks - fees, licensing, etc.
Plan to spend a while there. We usually go on a Saturday or Sunday, and spend a couple hours wandering around. - BarbMore than a year agoBEST of some GREAT MN Parks
This page description doesn't begin to tell the story of this beautiful park. Lots of room to roam. A couple of nice ponds. Two big open play areas. Lovely pines. Hills and vistas or an easy walk around. Volunteers keep everything clean, clean, clean. Worth the drive even though the lovely Mississippi River Park in Minneapolis is much closer for me.

Used to be a regular. Now folks are talking about bringing knives ang guns to "protect" their dogs. Never going again!

I love this park, it's big, has a lot of variety, fully fenced in. Free.
- KatarineMore than a year agoFun but Mosquitoes
Friends told me this was the best dog park around. It's nothing compared to Minnehaha, seriously. However, it is a decent size with a couple different changes of scenery - woods, open fields, ponds. Family oriented. The mosquitoes though, that's a deal breaker for me. Depends on time of year I guess. Never notice them at Minnehaha. Did I mention that Minnehaha was better? Well, it is. I would go to this park if I lived near by, but I won't bother going out of my way.

This is a wonderful dog park with just about everything, fields, lakes for swimming, a creek, paths through the woods. The park is very clean the owners do a great job of picking up after their dogs, can't wait to go again!

We just moved to the Stillwater area from Ohio where our dogs were use to running and swimming without a leash. My dogs and family LOVED this park. My 2 dogs swam in the pond until they dropped. The people we met along the trais were very friendly and helpful. Nice benchs to sit along the way. Since this was our first time, we were concerned that we could get lost in the woods. The trail is a big loop which eventually reachs both parking lots. Worth the drive from Stillwater.. We will definitely return.
- AshleyMore than a year agoBest Dog Park in the Cities!
By far the best dog park in the cities and the surrounding. It's huge with several ponds for water access. Make sure to bring your own bags, though. My dogs love it!
- AlexMore than a year agoGreat park!
Huge park, completely fenced in, areas to sit, awesome trails to walk on, and large dog run play areas. Haven't yet come across a dog who was misbehaving. A beautiful park and a great time!
