Dix Park Dog Park

Dix Park Dog Park is pet-friendly. Dog owners are no longer invited to let their best friends loose on the athletic field next to Biggs Drive, but on the new permanent park between the Big Field and Umstead Drive instead. This large space is completely fenced and divided into a small and a large dog section. Fido will find welcome new additions like water stations and natural shade inside. Visit Website

    Fun and popular

I'd highly recommend this park if your pup is a people (and doggo) pleaser. Except during bad weather, these fields are teeming with friendly pups. There are dog bowls, but no running water, so bring your own. This was our favorite dog park in Raleigh... enjoy!

    Big and grassy and fun!

So different from the all-mulch places. This is a great place to hang out for humans as well as dogs. It’s huge, and it’s like it’s own park within a park. Bring lots of water since there isn’t an installed water dish, though there are old dishes around you can pour water into. No benches or shelters for humans, but temp bleachers or the ground make a nice place to sit.

    My Pup’s Favorite Dog Park!

The only grassy and large dog park in my area and my Luna loves it!
