    Avoid Three Rivers Parks

Three rivers states in their dog park rules that aggressive behavior is not acceptable, unfortunately they do not have a quality control system in place to enforce this and when notified of dogs (and their owners) who are in violation of this, they simply turn the other way.

Our dog was attacked and bitten numerous times by an aggressive dog. Three Rivers did nothing to ameliorate the situation and the aggressor dog is still at the park and can be seen frequently exhibiting aggressive behavior towards other guests and dogs.

I will not be taking my dog back to this park or any other three Rivers park as the management is among the most despicable I've ever encountered.

    Wonderful Park!

I just want to make one correction, there is a water supply (maybe it has been added since this page was made). Just a wonderful park and there always seems to be a great group of people/dogs.

Large Park out in rural MN

Located on the western edge of the Twin Cities, this 27 acre park is part of the Three Rivers Park District off-leash dog parks. $5.00 day pass or $35 for the year. The park has a nice hilly area for dogs to stretch their legs. Tall grass areas as well as wooded and open space. No ponds at this location. Small area for small and frail dogs. Largely responsible pet owners and well behaved dogs.

An excellent park, part of the 3 Rivers Park District. There is a $35 annual fee per household (visitors can buy a pass for $5 per time) - but this fee covers the admission into any of the district's dog parks. Nice area with a range of open space, tall grasses, woods. Terrain is flat in some areas and rolling hills in others (because of this, streams do form after rains - so bring towels if it's wet out). Tons of dogs and families there (evenings and weekends) - so it's a great socialization space. A smaller fenced in area is provided for "Small and Fraiil" dogs.
