Green Book Walking Tour

'Green Book Walking Tour' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Faye. You and Fido will be guided around Philadelphia to see "Green Book" sites and hear the history of how African Americans used this book to navigate when traveling during the times of Jim Crow laws in the South and the North's racial segregation. Hear the stories of these sites and see points of interest including a National Historic Landmark where John Coltrane first heard Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker; a Supper club that was a hangout for producers and musicians who created “The Sound of Philadelphia”; Green Book hotels where Billie Holiday stayed and was arrested; and more.
