    Nice field

There are 3 separate runs for the dogs. while you do need a fob to get in, at least five people came and went while I was there, and everyone was friendly and willing to let me in. It was a nice sized field, with a gazebo with benches in case you needed some shade. They refill tennis balls regularly for the dogs. There is a dog wash station, pools, and water bowls. Everyone was very friendly. It is part of a larger park so you can always go for a nice hike afterwards.

    HUGE Park

Cochran Hills has three large dog parks. It is part of the Louisville Dog Run Association which requires a $50/year membership to access all their parks. this fee helps pay for the upkeep.

There is always plenty of water options available and every few months they provide a new supply of tennis balls for all dogs to enjoy!

Love this Park! Safe and well kept.

I see a lot of complaints about out of town folks not having access. I’m so thankful that all the dogs that visit this park are guaranteed to be vaccinated and up to date on shots that not only protects my pup but also yours! Might be a good idea for Feeders Supply & the Dog Run Association to do verified day passes for visitors.
The small fee I pay annually is well worth the comfort, and access to all 8 dog parks in Metro Louisville. Water (and pools), toys, landscaping, trash, tons of tennis balls, pup bags are all provided with the membership.

    Warning - Private!

BE warned this is a private park. Not suited for people visiting the city. In my opinion this shouldn’t even be on Bring Fido.. would give zero stars if I could.

    Permit?

Louisville really stinks with ZERO PUBLIC Dog Parks! Go to Lexington. The parks are bigger and the city itself is MUCH dog friendlier!

don't go unless you have an access code for gate

Looked like a lovely park but totally missed the comment on the reviews here that you need access code to get in. Gate is looked with a key code and you cannot get in without it. Was visiting family in Louisville and so happy to have found this park. So sad that it was not for public use (so unheard of for me).

    Beautiful park

Compared to the dog parks we frequent in CA, the Louisville parks are Paradise. We visited two parks -- Sawyer and Cochran Hill. Both provided acres of grass, gorgeous trees, benches, and a darling gazebo. Water and poop bags were, of course, available. The only "ding" on this park compared to Sawyer is that there were lots of (gopher?) holes and you wouldn't want to run around with your dog for fear of twisting an ankle. Otherwise, 5 bones!
