    Best dog bar

Best dog bar in Tampa. only thing is…I wish there was a bar outside where you can sit at. place is well kept, it doesn’t smell like wet dogs and the staff keeps the area poop free for the most part. I’d like to see an Odessa location open up!!

    Great place for pups!

First time visitor but we will be coming back! owners take care of their dogs and they have a huge space to run and play, inside and out, including a water play area and pools when it’s really hot!

Best Dog Park & Bar in Tampa Bay and Florida!

This place is seriously a pup's paradise. Over 14,000 of full off leash dog park and bar. 5000 sq ft indoor A/C taproom with 20 rotating taps and a huge selection of craft beer, wine, seltzers, and ciders. A huge fenced in and k9 turfed Backyard with splash pad, pools, umbrellas and tables, outdoor tvs. Weekly events like trivia, bingo, sunday brunch and bottomless mimosas. Monthly breed meetups, themed trivia, drag queen bingo, dog foam parties. They just added a new food truck that is run by a world class chef. Vaccinations required to keep all the pups safe, and such a friendly staff, manager, and the owner is often there. If you come to Florida or Tampa Bay, this is a must see spot!

    Pup Approved

Desi and Bongo, our Havanese pups love coming to Two Shepherds Taproom. The staff are friendly and the facilities are top notch. We like that staff are in the play area and monitor both dog behaviors and ensure the grounds remain clean. Other dog owners are friendly and this is a safe place for pups to socialize with other pups as well as people. We also enjoy a cold beverage or two while relaxing under once of the many umbrellas while our pups play.

    Solid

went for the first time over the weekend. I have a bit of social anxiety so I put off going for a while but was well worth going and good vibes there. will definitely get a month or yearly pass at some point once we frequent and confirm it’s worth it.

    Love Two Shepherds

Great spot and owners watch and clean up after their dogs. It is a very clean location. Owners and staff do a great job being accessible and watchful. Reasonable cost. Lots of activities for dogs and nice sized play area with artificial turf. Picnic tables, adirondock chairs. This place really just keeps getting better and better with activities for your pup and their owners. Check out their website.

Awesome new dog park in Tampa to check out!

This place is BEYOND great! My dog has a blast! They have 3 barrel like mini pools filled with water that they jump in to cool off and have a blast! The owners and staff are literally some of the NICEST people I have ever met. Not to mention the Two Shepherds, Cooper, and Hobbes! Seriously, check this place out. They also have a great selection of drinks!

    Cool concept...

We were super excited to try out this dog bar (especially with the inside area in the FL summer) but were disappointed with the staff. The owner was fabulous but the lady who was at the front desk was very rude. While they attempt to help monitor the dogs behavior, we witnessed one dog poop on the concrete floor 3x without its owner cleaning it up and nothing was done about it. The one female employee mentioned overreacted about my golden and another doodle playing with their paws and chastized both owners even though we were watching our dogs. It really fosters a very judgy atmosphere and is a let down. It's one thing to monitor and another to be rude. They do have a great selection of craft beers which was nice to see! As others said, there is no shade outside and the astroturf gets super hot.

Overall, this place has potential. I love the concept but feel very unwelcome due to the staff.

    Honest Opinion

Really cool concept but needs a lot of work. Two Shepherds is taproom dedicated to dogs. It’s $7 for your pup to visit for the day and $250 for an annual pass (which is outrageous compared to most places charging $50 annually). Good selection of drinks that were reasonably priced, staff were super friendly, it was nice to sit in A/C, and ultimately my dog had a good time.

For the cons: There is no shade outside so it’s pretty much unusable in summer and no one was out there. Would love to see some coverings and fans put up. The inside is also a concrete floor with some cheap pop up pieces for the dogs to play around with...which I saw zero use in our hour there aside from dogs tripping on them. They had a couple of turf benches but otherwise the dogs were running (and pooping) on concrete floors and my dog who can go ALL DAY at other dog bars was ready to leave after an hour. But again, cool concept, definitely worth a visit especially if you’re looking for a more chill vibe than other dog bars, but we’d just like to see a little more love put into it before we go back.
