    The Atchafalaya Experience

    The Atchafalaya Experience in Breaux Bridge, LA, is pet-friendly. The tour lasts for three hours and visitors have an opportunity to see large cypress trees growing in the water of the swamp, alligators, and birds such as herons, egrets, osprey, hawks, and owls. What you see is dependent upon the season and water levels, but there is always something interesting. There is an admission cost per person but Fido tours free! There's usually a weight limit of 40lbs, but larger dogs may be allowed at the discretion of the tour operator. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Tours meet at the Welcome Center. Visit Website

      Incredible

      we loved this experience. We did a 4 hour private tour and it was truly amazing. Kim was a wonderful guide and the wildlife was excellent. our pup lasted well throughout!

      High value experience!

      What a tremendous experience for your family and Fido. Spent 3+ hours touring the wild and mysterious bayou spotting alligators, egret, ducks, osprey and more. Captain Kim knows the bayou and the history making a unique experience you’ll talk about for years. Safe and educational - not sure who had more fun, the wife or the pup. Outstanding vacation value. You won’t be disappointed!

      Awesome experience

      We have a labradoodle and a spoodle who we’re both welcomed. We had a fantastic 3 hour tour of the Bayou and saw a ton of wildlife and beautiful cypress.
