  Dog friendly car museum

  So nice to have a place like this that allows dogs inside the museum. My guess is that Don Garlits loved dogs too as we saw photos inside of him and his wife with their dog. The museum is great for people who love cars and follow drag racing. They have done a great job curating and displaying cars and telling a story and history as well. There is even a working jukebox that is fun to play for only a quarter! Big grassy area and picnic area out front too for the patient pups and family before or after.

  So much to see and Lyla loved it

  Definitely stop to see this super impressive car collection of Don Garlits racing, muscle cars, super rare cars - be sure to read the info on each one !

  Not geared for dogs

  They welcome dogs in the museum. It isn’t geared for dogs but it is nice they allow them in. There is lots of grass out front for dogs to relieve themselves or just roll around. There was even a dog behind the desk. It was very nice to come across an attraction like this that allows dogs indoors.
