Kayak Excursions Pelican Bay is pet-friendly. Situated between San Carlos Bay and Estero Bay, Pelican Bay is a great place to paddle with your pooch. Stay close by in the protected waters of Pelican bay or venture in to the mangrove island dotted Hurricane and Hell Peckney Bays. Rentals start at $40. Dogs are welcome. Great clean kayaks. Staff was helpful and provided a map. Wandered through mangroves. Pup fell out twice (actually think he jumped on purpose the first time). But easy to get him back in the kayak. Was entertained by two dolphin who were fishing and then stuck around and gave us a show. Relaxing fun day for all!!
