- AndiJul 9, 2021Beautiful park!
our dog loved the park. easy 2 mile walk around the lake with well maintained paths and landscaping. Watch out for the ducks and their droppings though. There is a nice field where your dog can be off leash with only woods as a boundary ( no fence). And the lake is in site so be careful with water-loving dogs. also if you are traveling from out of state there may be a $10 daily fee. we went around 5 pm and there wasn’t anyone in the pay booth. The park has picnic tables, playgrounds , a disc golf course and kayaking on the lake.

Was a relatively dog-friendly park without going out of it's way. Bring your own water and bowl as the water fountains available for doggies are spaced far apart. The trail is a good place to hike with your dog and is shaded about 2/3rds of the way.
