The best of Buffalo, good if staying at the Westin
Spot CoffeeSpots cafe is a true Buffalo, New York experience. Across from the dog friendly Westin hotel, Spot Coffee is just as dog friendly. You can easily tie leashes to the fence and move tables around to accommodate bigger groups. We brought our dogs here for breakfast on vacation. Our two dogs were happy to be with us for breakfast and enjoyed watching the bustling traffic and meeting other strangers on the patio. Food and coffee were delicious. The only advice I would give is to get there early to grab a table as the patio tables go fast!
Pretty good place to bring a well-behaved dog
Over Easy at the DepotThe patio is a nice place to bring a well-behaved dog. Be aware this is a heavily trafficked area so your dog must be able to handle people, kids, other dogs and babies passing by. There was no place to attach our dogs leash so we put it under our chair. They didn't bring out water for the dog but I'm sure they would if we had asked. They were able to bring out a side of eggs in a bowl for the dog on request!
Great place for photos, friendly waiters
Darby's On Fifty-NineGreat place for photos of your dog! Make sure to get a photo of your dog in portrait mode next to the flowers pots! The patio is beautiful and the waiters are friendly towards dogs. This is a good lunch and dinner place with vegetarian and gluten free options available.
Nice park, good trail, dog friendly
Hudson Springs ParkWas a relatively dog-friendly park without going out of it's way. Bring your own water and bowl as the water fountains available for doggies are spaced far apart. The trail is a good place to hike with your dog and is shaded about 2/3rds of the way.
Ultimate dog park! (Just don't drink the water)
Bow Wow BeachOur dog, Lucy, just learned how to swim here today and practiced agility on the agility course. Many of the dog owners we met were super friendly and knowledgeable. Park was well maintained and there was even free dog shampoo at the showers for those who forgot there's. This is the ultimate dog park. The little dog area was great for her to start off in and then we moved her to the big dog area. Excellent agility course for dogs to start out (jumps were adjustable to very low and ramps weren't too extreme for early agility training). We must have about 30-40 dogs today and out of all of these only one was aggressive. Most dogs are very well trained here but other dog owners were understanding of our dog being a little misbehaving because she is only 1 and we are actively training her to be around other dogs still. My one note is just to not let dogs drink the water as it definitely has algae in it and could make your dog sick! Teaching "leave it" before coming here may be beneficial to prevent dogs from drinking from the lake.
Nice patio, dog friendly employees
StarbucksOur dog got a puppachino and a water cup. The patio was nicely shaded and protected from the wind unlike the other Starbucks on east main street in Kent. Large "umbrellas" can be moved and are a solid pillar to fasten a dog leash too.
Pro-tip: be careful to park in the right spot as they are tow happy in this lot!
Outdoor patio + dog friendly waiters
Eddy's Deli & RestaurantOur waiter was nice and very laid back about us having a dog with us, they were happy to have dogs on the patio. There are actually wooden posts on the patio that were perfect to tie our dogs leash too, and they brought out a pitcher to refill our dogs water bowl when she kept knocking it over.
One word of warning though: don't come here there is rain forecasted as there are no umbrellas on the patio.
