Smyrna Rest Area

Conveniently located off US-13 in Smyrna, DE is the dog-friendly Smyrna Rest Area, also known as the Chauncey O. Simpson Memorial Rest Area. Leashed dogs are welcome to walk along the paved pathway or on the open grassy area. There are also picnic tables which you and your pup can sit at, and there's even a fenced dog park for Fido to enjoy some off-leash exercise. Visit Website

Great Location
perfect stop with our puppy! they had a dog water fountain. They also have two gated/fenced dog parks so you could take the dogs off leash so they could run!! one for small dogs (under 30lbs) and one for large (over 30lbs!) The restrooms were clean and gardens beautiful. there was also a small playground for little kids. if you are driving RT 1 or 13 it’s a perfect little retreat easy off and on.
