  I really appreciate Love’s and their dog parks! Sure, this won’t be the most picturesque dog park you’ve ever seen and there’s a complete lack of water features and agility courses because it’s a truck stop. On the highway. In the middle of nowhere.

  It’s a nice place to play some fetch and have an off leash run. The day we stopped, the large dog area was very clean and nicely mowed. After 30min, my dog was tired and happy.

  Skip this stop - you’re better off anywhere else!

  The fenced dog “park” at this Love’s is horrible. It’s tiny, people haven’t cleaned up after their dogs at all, there are smelly festering trash cans all around it making it difficult to breathe, and the entrance is basically in the Arby’s drive thru. Don’t plan your road trip around this as a dog stop - you’re better off almost anywhere else. I’ve been to other Love’s truckstops before with very nice fenced dog areas - this is absolutely not one of them!
