Paul B. Johnson State Park Paul B. Johnson State Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is pet-friendly. You and Fido can explore the nature trails together, checking out long-leaf and loblolly pines, delicate dogwoods, and ancient oaks along the way. Stay for a little longer to eat lunch at the picnic tables and grills dotted around. Dogs are welcome throughout the park, other than the splashpad, as long as they are on a leash under six feet and all mess is cleaned up after them. The fee for entry into the park is $4 per vehicle. F.E.T.C.H. Park F.E.T.C.H. Park is pet-friendly. This 3 acre, fenced, off-leash dog park is located in Long Beach, MS. There is a separate area for large and small dogs, both with double-gated entrances and separate double-gated exits. The park has ADA compliant concrete walkways at entrance and two ADA compliant water fountains, benches and waste stations. There are benches and waste stations throughout the park. There is a dog rinse area, tunnels, hills and fire hydrants. F.E.T.C.H is open every day of the week from dawn until dusk. See Details
Roosevelt State Park Roosevelt State Park is dog-friendly. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy the nature trails. One of them leads to a panoramic view of the Bienville National Forest at the scenic overlook. Dogs are welcome to join their owners throughout the park, as long as they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them. The fee for entry into the park is $4 per vehicle. See Details
Gulf Islands National Seashore Certain areas of Gulf Islands National Seashore are dog-friendly! Leashed dogs are allowed on trails, multi-use paths, and on park roads. They are also allowed to be tied to fixed objects in the Davis Bayou and Fort Pickens Campgrounds, if their leash is less than six feet long, the pet is quiet, and out of harm's way. Pets must be cleaned up after during their visit. Dog owners can check out Gulf Islands National Seashore's official website to find operating hours and entrance fees for specific areas of the Seashore.

Dogs are NOT allowed on all park beaches and in water less than five feet in Florida; on all beaches of the Mississippi barrier islands and in water less than five feet surrounding the islands; and in the forts or visitor use facilities, such as pavilions, fishing and ferry piers, and visitor centers.

Bark Park The Bark Park at Propst Park is a great place for Fido to hang out with other dogs and get some exercise at the same time, including areas for big dogs and little dogs, dog water fountains, a small A-frame, a hoop, a dog walk, and some benches. Propst Park is also home to 4 youth softball fields, 4 adult softball fields, 10 youth baseball fields, a disc golf course, 4 tennis courts, a skateboard park, a water spray park, a playground area, an activity center, and a community center. Columbus Riverwalk and Trail Bring Fido for a walk on the Columbus Riverwalk and trail that begins at Main Street and winds along the Tombigbee River. The trail offers two pavilions, bathrooms, benches, bike racks, and picnic tables. Dogs should be leashed at all times along the trail and riverwalk. See Details
Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center Dogs are welcome at Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center, where you and Fido will discover a pet-friendly four mile nature trail system. All of the trails allow Fido to wander on a leash with their owners. The Lake Trail is the shortest path in the area at well under a mile in length that loops around the lake. From the Lake Trail, you can access the Bluff Trail through a gap in the fence. This crushed limestone pathway winds through upland woods and along the top of a 70-foot-high bluff, providing views of the old Tombigbee River channel. Starting at the observation deck, the Old Channel Trail gives you the chance to go full Indiana Jones and hunt for fossils. The River and Scout Trails form a loop together, sloping up through woodlands. Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. See Details

Longleaf Trace The Longleaf Trace is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors.
