- JeniSep 2, 2023Quintessential trail!
A beautiful and well maintained trail with giant boulders and stunning trees! Our dog had a blast traversing the Ernie Maxwell trail! A must do!
- Patrick and ArthurJun 15, 2022Great Easy-Moderate Hike
6mi (3mi in / 3mi back out) with lots of shade and fallen trees or rocks to sit on for water/rest breaks. Our 2 handled it well on a pretty hot (high 80s) June day.
Parking lot allows for more than we expected and trails were less busy than expected compared to how many were parked.
Highly recommend this trail - follow @patrickandarthur for more dog friendly travel recommendations and fun!

Right below the Humber Park trailhead is the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail on the right. There's a very small parking turnoff and a sign that proclaims "Scenic Trail". If you don't feel like hiking the tougher trails, this is a beautiful easy trail, basically about 5 miles total if you do it as an out-and-back. Very enjoyable.
- KirstenDec 22, 2019Great trail
Trail has some challenge if you and your dog are up for it. Parking is nice and easy to find once through the gate. Says you need a pass for the park as it is a national park, but we didn't have one and all was good, noticed others didn't have one either. Great workout!!!

Teré, your review was teréble. If you look for it, the park will present itself to you.

Humber "Park" isn't a park at all.
It is a trail head, with limited parking.
