Great Easy-Moderate Hike
Humber Park6mi (3mi in / 3mi back out) with lots of shade and fallen trees or rocks to sit on for water/rest breaks. Our 2 handled it well on a pretty hot (high 80s) June day.
Parking lot allows for more than we expected and trails were less busy than expected compared to how many were parked.
Highly recommend this trail - follow @patrickandarthur for more dog friendly travel recommendations and fun!
Beautiful but Short
Mirror Lake Trail - YosemiteYosemite in general is stunning and Mirror Lake is no exception. To clarify with this particular “Hike” dogs are only allowed on the first mile which is the paved road up to the base of the lake. There is a sign at the lake saying no dogs, so it can be confusing as to where exactly dogs are allowed. If you’re planning on the full hike around the loop you’ll be disappointed. With that said, it didn’t appear enforced or followed as there were many dogs past the end of the paved road onto true hiking trails.
Quiet and Comfortable
Queen's Inn By the RiverWe recently stayed 2 nights with our two dogs. The property is great and rooms comfortable. The adjoining Idle Hour Winery was a perfect on-site dining option with terrific wine. We also enjoyed the Wine & Beer Garden with fire pits. The owners are true animal lovers and that really makes this a great place for your stay with furbabies. Hopefully you’re able to also meet one of the animals roaming around! Will be back for sure!
