    Located within the Central Park

Dog Park is located within Central Park. This review is for dog park only. Dog Park is two fenced off-leash areas within Central Park. Dog Park is dirt and some wood chips. Very dusty, but don't fret because there is a dog wash right next to it / between the dog park and parking lot. Shade. Lots of bugs. Water and restrooms near by in people park. Friendly people until they find out you're a tourist.

    Huge dog park

this dog park is huge and there is tons of space to run. there are 2 dogs parks, one for little dogs and one for large but there are never any dogs in the small park . there are a ton of seats for people to sit and there is plenty of shade and sunny spots. there are plenty of water bowls as well for dogs.

one of the down sides is your dog will leave filthy and full of dirt and dust. if your dog has allergies then this is not the park for you.

in my past experience a lot of dogs at this park are not fixed. there was one particular time we went and a huge dog kept jumping on my back and the owner was no where to be found . i have plenty experience with dogs so I was able to handle it but misbehaved dogs seem to frequent this area .

    It'll do

For us, this dog park is conveniently located, so we'll use it if we don't have time to take a longer walk or to dog beach. The whole park (both small and big dog sides) is just dirt, so it's fine if you're just looking for a fenced-in area for your dog to run around off-leash. For us though, our dog gets too dirty that we try to keep our visits here to a minimum.

    Nice Park

This was my first time coming here and wasn't sure what to expect. It's an awesome park for my Husky and Rhodesian Ridgeback, I think we were there for two hours. All nice dogs who play together. Will definitely be back on a regular basis.

    great dogs and people

Took my little dog in with the big dogs because there were no dogs in the little side. Huge park!

    It's Fine

Used to take our 100 pound Shepard mix here when we lived down the street. I think out of 100 visits 99 of them were good experiences for both us and Levi.

    Nice park

It's a great park, but I've decided my Labrador and I will only visit on bath days. He has a blast, the park is good sized, separated for large and small dogs, there's shade and benches, lots of balls/toys left behind to play with. Unfortunately, I have OCD - the wood chips and self filling water bowls = mud = filthy muddy mess of a dog = no bueno. I'd come more often if my dog wasn't always in 'hog heaven' with those water elements. Not the park's fault.

Huntington Beach Best Friends Dog Park

The Dog Park is there. Entrance is at Edwards St and Inlet Dr, at Huntington Central Park. At this site there are 2 large fenced in areas, 1 for small dogs, and 1 for large dogs like me. There are many chairs, benches, shade trees, water fountains, and other things of interest for me.

2 things that stand out are the water bowls and memorials. The water bowls are self filling, I was amused as my master tried to fill the water bowls and couldn't turn the valves. This is the first time I have seen water bowls that fill themselves. The memorials to other dogs that are erected throughout the park were interesting to look at. This park is privately funded and a donation box is at the entrance.

    No park I can find

If there is a dog park here, can't find it. Right next to the Police Station, across from HB high school? Can't find it!.
