  Wide Open Space!

  Kaposia is basically a large open field (6.3 acres to be exact) where dogs have the space to run! It is a great place for dogs to play fetch and chase each other. It is very busy during typical dog park hours and there are often other dogs looking to exert some energy. The grass is usually green and well maintained in the warm months. There is an adjacent fenced in area for puppies and smaller dogs as well. Overall, this park is very simple but servers its purpose as a wide open haven for dogs to interact.

  Decent dog park

  If you like a big space for your dog to run in a fenced in area with no trees or water, Kaposia fits what you want. There are no trails or separate parks for small dogs in the fenced field. There are two small shelters to sit in and get out of the wind, but the area around them can get muddy if its wet or melty. An double-gated entrance at either end of the large field tend to get your dog running a long way from either side if they are interested in the new dogs coming in. Most people walk a lot when they bring their dog here.
